Book I- Chapter VI: The Grim Bishop & The Lifeless

The Fell Reaper had grown incredibly in power, skill and the dark arts. What he had pillaged from The Witch Doctor had paid handsomely, far beyond his wildest dreams. He was now a lord walking the earth, ready to impose his will. A new way upon the lands. It was needed, but only after delivering unto it its due karma. He was going to ransack the kingdom to the far north. An icy, barren wasteland ruled by a skeleton lord, The Grim Bishop.

An unrelenting ruler whom long ago raped, robbed and burned The Fell Knight’s homeland to the ground. The village had recovered but their spirits were never the same. They came in droves, in the cold of the night. He can never forget the screaming. Of the children. The wives and husbands. The elders. The animals, even.

It was horrific. There was nothing he could do. He and his family hid away and managed to avoid the onslaught, but many others were not so fortunate. Now, with this godly power and capability, he could exact a revenge the size of his grandest nightmares. These zombie marauders were not to be taken lightly. They were fast, strong and most dangerous of all- they were already dead. Made of bone and rotting flesh, with the will to decimate any who would encounter them. The Grim Bishop stood 13 feet tall, a demonic entity. A king from the underworld who had emerged through the crevices of the ice walls, conquering the northern lands of the collective of kingdoms.

They were made of bone, but his Lockjaw sword would have no effect on the bones of the undead. However, he learned of a new combination due to his heightened spells. He could combine the technique of the Bloodlight Sonata together with his Dismember technique, upon giving blood to the blade. The more given, the more powerful the effect. He could now manipulate all of the insides of his opponents at will with the swing of his sword, both bone and blood. The red moon was not even needed. Just blood.

His price to cast spells and sword techniques had lessened in time. The Bonelight Sonata. And that is exactly what he did. The Fell Reaper vamped towards the frozen purgatory, breaking the doors open with his upgraded bone blade. The armies ravaged towards him in droves. He stabbed himself deeply several times, swinging The Lockjaw in waves as thousands of corpses were sent mutilated and bloodied. Storming his way like a satanic tornado towards The Grim Bishop, he penetrated his own chest the deepest he had ever, then with both Deliverance and Lockjaw swords, emerged behind The Bishop and impaled him through his back, crumbling him to a pile of dust.

His crown dropped and The Fell Reaper placed it atop his head, now, The Fell King. A thunder roared that moment.

The black flames were beginning to gather, spelling The End.

Chapter VI, "The Grim Bishop & The Lifeless," depicts a powerful transformation for the Fell Knight, now the Fell Reaper. Having gained immense power and dark arts knowledge, he sets out to exact revenge on The Grim Bishop, a skeletal lord who devastated his homeland. This chapter is a gripping portrayal of the culmination of vengeance, power, and the embrace of darker forces. The Fell Reaper's journey, marked by epic battles and the overthrow of the Bishop, symbolizes a significant evolution in his character, embracing his newfound identity as "The Fell King." The narrative weaves themes of retribution, power, and the inevitable consequences of embracing one's darker nature.
